Friday 5 - Topically Unrelated

Friday 5 time!

My day was challenging, so I spent most of it doing stuff that distracted me: playing room escape games, watching my newly arrived Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, making more hamburger buns, and doing laundry. I did not run, which I feel unhappy about mentally but physically I think its what I needed.

Then I drove out to my old town to pick up my younger son, DB. We're having a driving practice weekend...and now it's also a cooking practice weekend. He's explained his father has agreed to buy better food for their house if DB will cook it. We'll be practicing a few simple recipes and YAY! I have a new project ('cause you know I really NEEDED a another project) to make a cookbook of the simple recipes with all the detailed instructions.

So now my DB is here and we have fun stuff planned, so I'm happier. Because DB is da bomb diggity fun.

So on to the Friday 5, but sorry in advance that I'm not putting in as much effort tonight, not looking up pictures, because as I mentioned...DB is here. Ya'll don't rate when one of Da Boys are here.
  1. What’s something you think you could have been good at, if you’d started at a young age?
I think I could've been much better (than I am now) at drawing if I'd taken formal lessons and practiced more.

    2.   What TV show’s theme song do you really like?

The Game of Thrones theme song is KICK ASS.

    3.   What’s the dumbest dare you ever took, or what’s the dumbest dare you witnessed someone taking?

I don't do that. I don't watch other people do that either. Sorry if you like them and feel offended, but I think dares (and their idiot cousin, practical jokes) are just stupid.

    4.   What’s the most exotic thing you’ve eaten?

Alligator! I had forgotten about that, when I read the question out loud TheDaughter reminded me we had alligator last month.

   5.    What was the last thing you changed the batteries for?

The remote control for the VCR! So I could watch my movie, listed above.

  1. Would you consider including some of those recipes here?

    1. Um...yes? Sure, if you really want to see them, but they're just going to be basic recipes, just so you know. Really simple stuff like omelets, mac and cheese, my personal pasta sauce recipe. I'm pretty sure you know how to cook already, am I right? Your wife told me so and I believe her.
